Dealing with the problems of old age can be extremely difficult and finding the right course of action to address these concerns can be a daunting process.
I have been working as an old age specialist since 16 years and as a Consultant Geriatrician (care of the elderly) for 11 years. I had my specialist training in General and Geriatric Medicine in West Midlands. I offer a range of services and specialises in the management of multiple co-morbidities resulting in poor quality of life.
I work as a Consultant Geriatrician and stroke Physician at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust (Pinderfield hospital and Dewsbury hospital). I also provide private medical care to people of all age group from Claremont Hospital and BMI Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield.
I am specialist for care of the elderly and manage health problems of old age. My expertise includes managing Falls, poor mobility, fragility fracture, risk of fracture and osteoporosis, need of rehabilitation, Parkinson's disease, long term conditions, stroke and TIA.
As a osteoporosis specialist, I provide range of treatment options including 6 monthly injection of Denosumab or an yearly injection of Zoledronic acid.
My services are patient centred with consultation times offered outside of normal working hours (6pm onward) at the Claremont Hospital or on Friday at BMI Thornbury in Sheffield. I also provide inpatient care (rehabilitation and respite service) at BMI Thornbury Hopsital.
Unfortunately, I'm not registered with any medical insurance company and hence, it's your responsibility to pay fee in full or get it reimbursed by your insurer which may need a prior agreement.
My fee for a new outpatient consultation is £250 for an hour and then, £100 for every 30 minutes. Follow up consultation rate is £150 for every 30 minutes (upto 6 months). Home visit fee is £300 (within 5 miles). Inpatient care: £200 first day and then £100 daily.
